Built for Kiwi Streamers, by Streaming Experts
We founded IPTV New Zealand with a simple mission: to deliver a broadcast-quality television experience without the exorbitant prices and fragmented sports packages of legacy satellite and cable companies.
For years, New Zealand sports enthusiasts and TV viewers faced a frustrating dilemma. Traditional subscription broadcasters charged upwards of $100 NZD per month, yet required additional paid add-ons just to watch the English Premier League, UEFA Champions League, or Formula 1. Meanwhile, generic international IPTV services suffered from constant buffering because their servers were located halfway across the world in Europe or North America.
Our Local New Zealand Infrastructure
To solve the latency dilemma once and for all, IPTV New Zealand invested in direct peering arrangements at primary internet exchange points in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch. By caching high-demand live sporting events locally on the Chorus national fibre backbone, our streams travel a fraction of the distance, dropping average ping times to under 10ms on Spark, One NZ, and 2degrees Fibre connections.
Redundant Server Clusters
Every live channel is backed by dual redundant satellite and fibre ingest feeds. If a feed hiccups, our system switches within milliseconds.
Anti-Freeze™ 9.2 Load Balancing
Intelligent bitrate adaptation prevents ISP congestion slowdowns during high-demand events like the All Blacks test matches and Super Rugby Pacific finals.
